Why Was The Joseph Fund Created?
When disaster strikes, the local church is often in the best position to reach out to bring healing and restoration to those affected by tragedy.
We are grateful for this fund that allows us to continue to contribute to disaster relief efforts above and beyond what we raise for specific events.
This short video explains why the Joseph Fund was created, and how we use it to quickly get funding to our partners.
We are currently using Joseph Fund donations for drought relief in Northeastern Uganda and Kenya, and flood relief in Pakistan and Lexington, KY. We continue to fund disaster response efforts in areas that still need support (such as in KY after last year’s tornadoes), as well as other relief efforts not making the evening news.

After two years of war in the Tigray region of Ethiopia ended in November 2022, the population was left traumatized by the brutality of the conflict. Thankfully, the church recognizes the need to come alongside people in this region and provide them with specialized care.
ARDF’s mission is to resource the local church to meet the needs in its community, and we know that many churches and dioceses in the Anglican Church of North America already have overseas partners and connections. Our Church to Church matching grants are designed to foster and enhance the impact of those existing partnerships!
