Your Impact
In the past three months, ARDF sent more than $320,000 in relief funds to: Haiti, Kentucky, Louisiana, Myanmar, Nepal, and ACNA churches or related ministries in seven states working with Afghan refugees!
Kentucky
The violent tornadoes that struck Western Kentucky last month have wreaked havoc on several small towns. Although there are no Anglican congregations in the affected areas, ARDF is partnering with three other trusted organizations in order to bring relief.
For now, we are awaiting assessments about the actual needs on the ground. Until we learn more, we've been told that funds are the most useful. As of December 31, ARDF had sent $30,000 to our partners.

Hurricane Ida
Volunteers in and around New Orleans continue to serve those affected by Hurricane Ida. We are so proud of the dedication of volunteers from Trinity Anglican (Lafayette), Good Shepherd Anglican Church (Metairie) and FaithPoint Family Fellowship (Covington).
In October, they spent a Saturday morning barbecuing 400 pounds of donated chicken to feed over 600 people in need.
During the Advent and Christmas season, they have been caring for homeless teenagers who were evacuated because of the storm and still have no stable residence. ARDF continued to support these efforts into November.
ACNA Churches Helping Afghan Refugees
Last quarter, we supported Global Teams overseas to help Afghans escaping the Taliban on foot. This quarter, we were honored to support ten different ACNA churches and affiliated ministries in their efforts to help resettle Afghans who have come to the United States. Churches in Arizona, Georgia, North Carolina, and Tennessee have adopted families. Non-profits in Arizona, Massachusetts, North Carolina, Texas, and Virginia are offering legal help and tangible support for new arrivals as well as trainings for the volunteers who are assisting them. To date, ARDF has given a total of $100,000 for these efforts.
Church Partnerships
ARDF has been honored to partner with various ACNA churches who are supporting the relief efforts of their overseas partners. Our new Joseph Fund allows us to match the funds you raise in your churches for efforts that we might not have been otherwise able to support.
