Raising Chickens Supports Farmers, Students, and the Church
“This is a platform to transform lives. ”
Western Kenya
The church-operated Nambale Magnet School had been attempting to increase their chicken production as a means to support the school and feed their students who are local orphans and vulnerable children. This project expanded chicken production at the school, raising a new breed of chicken that is high in demand and not offered by large scale poultry operators.
Currently, the Kenyan government has closed all schools until the threat from Coronavirus has passed. We look forward to seeing more children benefit from this project in the future.
This 100 second video highlights the impact of the project in Western Kenya.
