Turning Chaos into Compassion

These documents are designed to help local leaders at the Provincial, Diocesan, and Parish levels prepare to help their communities. If your family and your church are ready to face a natural disaster, then you will have the tools necessary to reach out into your community when the need arises. Disaster Response Coordinators help to facilitate this preparation and inspire their churches/regions to get involved! As Anglicans in disaster response, we turn chaos into compassion, assisting families to find their “new normal” in times of disaster.

Download our newest resource for volunteers and survivors.

This short booklet walks through several topics and emotions faced by those who encounter difficult circumstances. Anger, Anxiety, Grieving Loss, Hope, Overwhelmed . . . Scripture gives us stories and language to work through all of these emotions. Developed by ARDF’s Spiritual Care Task Force, we pray this little booklet can be a resource for volunteers and survivors alike.
