We lift up Kingsfield Anglican Mission, Maui, and Christ the Foundation Anglican Church, Oahu (Diocese of the Rocky Mountains), as they serve survivors of the wildfires. Kingsfield Anglican Mission has been locating shelter for displaced citizens, and providing food and emergency supplies for those in need. As the larger relief organizations get established, the mission is identifying individuals with small, unmet needs and fulfilling them.
Please join us in praying for those who have lost family and friends, who are now homeless, and for those ministering to survivors after this natural disaster.
Almighty God, by your Word you laid the foundations of the earth, set the bounds of the sea, and still the wind and waves. Surround those in Hawaii with your grace and peace, and preserve those through the aftermath of the fire. By your Spirit, lift up those who have fallen, strengthen those who work to rescue or rebuild, and fill us with the hope of your new creation;
through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
