 Ways to Leave a Legacy

Did you know that there are many ways to leave a lasting legacy? Choose the Legacy Plan that meets your financial goals.

Bequest in Will

Name ARDF in your will. Designate a specific amount, a percentage, or a share of the residue.

Gifts of Stocks or Securities

Contribute long-term appreciated stock or other securities for an immediate impact on current projects.

Charitable Trusts or DAF

Create a trust that pays you income or dividends while preserving the principal for ARDF’s future. Or, create a trust that retains the principal for you while paying a fixed or variable income to ARDF for a specific term of years. Or, designate funds from your Donor Advised Fund.

Retirement Assets

Designate your Required Minimum Distribution to ARDF and receive tax incentives up to $100,000. Or, avoid the twofold taxation on IRAs, 401(k)s or other employee benefit plans by naming ARDF as the beneficiary of the remainder of the assets after your lifetime.

Life Insurance

Donate a policy you no longer need and receive an immediate tax deduction.

Our Financial Promise to You

Financial Accountability

ARDF is committed to careful stewardship and financial transparency, and we consider every donation to be a sacred trust. We are happy to provide our supporters with the resources and data they need to be confident that their generosity is resulting in the highest possible return on investment in the form of permanently transformed lives and communities.

Not to share our own wealth with the poor is theft from the poor and deprivation of their means of life; we do not possess our own wealth, but theirs.
— St. John Chrysostom

ARDF is recognized by many charity evaluators and accountability organizations such as GuideStar, The Economic Cooperation Framework Agreement (ECFA), and Charity Navigator, the nations largest charity evaluator organization. Click here to view our most recent public 990 (FY21-22)
