KCEP Prayers & Praises - March 2020
Make a joyful noise unto the Lord all ye lands. Serve the Lord with gladness: come before His presence with singing. – Psalm 100:1-2
Praise for abundant rain which has resulted in good grazing for livestock. Praise that the locusts are gone.
Prayer for the children in Marsabit whose education was suspended by the Kenyan government on March 15 due to the coronavirus pandemic. Pray for the children who have lost the dependable source of food and water that the schools offer.
Prayer for spiritual, physical, emotional health and protection for Tumaini Academy students and teachers in these unprecedented times.
Prayer for additional sponsors for teachers and students. Praise for the addition of two teachers.
Praise for the solar panels provided by St. Stephen’s Summer Celebration which provide power for 14-15 computers.
Prayer for needed funding for St. Andrew's High School. Praise for the financial support which has resulted in materials being delivered and the actual breaking of ground on construction for the first two classrooms.
Praise for the new fencing encircling Tumaini Academy, provided by Rhema Christian School.
Praise for safe travels for The Rev. Canon Dr. John Macdonald, Chair of the KCEP Board of Advisors, who was privileged to witness the groundbreaking at St. Andrew’s and also to visit Tumaini (with its new fencing.)
Prayer for Bishop Qampicha as he serves in intense, stressful situations and shoulders an extremely heavy workload.
Prayers for peace among tribes and unity among clergy.
Meet a Tumaini Teacher:
Hannah did not grow up in a Christian home. She is a new Christian and finds that there are those around her who are not always supportive of her faith. But Hannah affirms, “I love Christ and I know He loves me. And I am grateful to Tumaini.”
