“What a Friend we have in Jesus, all our sins and griefs to bear. What a privilege to carry everything to God in prayer.”
PRAISE for the leadership of The Rev. Canon Dr. John Macdonald, who comes well-prepared to the role of Chair of the Advisory Board. John has been involved with KCEP since the beginning and is also the Associate Professor Emeritus of Mission and Evangelism at Trinity School for Ministry.
PRAYERS for John as he assumes the role of Chair of the Advisory Board and works with the team to support the Diocese of Marsabit’s educational efforts.
PRAISE and thanksgiving for excellent rains in October and November.
PRAYERS for protection from the destruction of swarms of locusts which have appeared since the drought and after the vegetation returned.
PRAYER for an honest and just court decision regarding a lawsuit resulting from a traffic accident in 2015.
PRAYERS for needed clergy for several parishes and guidance for Bishop Qampicha as he seeks to select leaders for these positions.
PRAISE for the installation of solar panels at Tumaini Academy, which is currently underway.
PRAYERS for two additional certified teachers for Tumaini required under new government guidelines.
PRAYERS for a safe, efficient and fruitful trip for John Macdonald to Marsabit at the beginning of March in preparation for the Vision Trip later this year.
PRAYERS for open hearts to respond to the Vision Trip to Marsabit Diocese in 2020.
PRAYERS for God’s vision for St. Andrew’s High School to be revealed to all those who travel to Marsabit this year.
