Hurricane relief 2017

Three Atlantic hurricanes slammed the United States in the fall of 2017. It will take years for the communities to recover.

I am impressed and amazed at how the people of the United States have come together for Hurricane Harvey,

Call to Action Fall 2017

Help Spread the Word!

In the fall of 2017, three powerful hurricanes punished the United States. Local churches on the ground reached out to their neighbors.

Generous ARDF donors have flooded ARDF with funds to help victims of Hurricane Harvey, Irma, and Maria. Sadly, these funds will not cover nearly enough of the repairs. And nothing can restore the lost lives, treasures, and memories lost to flood waters. But ARDF has a general fund for relief donations so those in need can receive help promptly through the local church.

Our sovereign God is working in the midst of tragedy and we want to share some of ways in which God has worked through the local church.

In Houston, Church of the Apostles became an official Red Cross shelter, hosting families and providing care for children while their parents dealt with the aftermath of the hurricane.

In Florida, IrmaRelief.faith was created to connect volunteers with those needing help and has organized teams across the state to provide rebuilding efforts.

In Puerto Rico, Water Mission was able to demonstrate the benefits of a solar powered water system. By investing in solar now, communities get clean water now - and can continue to source clean water during any future power disruptions!

We are grateful for all of our donors who continue to give to our partners through ARDF.
