I have enjoyed running for much of my life, but I didn't get very serious about participating in races until 2017. Last year, I participated in the Pittsburgh Marathon for the first time with the St. Stephen's Church relay team. It was so much fun, and I developed an interest in training for more races. I ran my first 10k in The Great Race later that year, and I am now very excited to stretch myself further in my first half marathon.
I am happy to be a part of the St. Stephen's Church marathon team this year and our goal to raise money for ARDF's agricultural and teacher training programs in Zambia. ARDF does fantastic work for God all around the world today, and assisting the Zambians with these education needs is great way for us to make a difference and be the hands and feet of Christ in that community.
