Pentacost 2019 - Partnering with the Church around the Globe

A Forever Love for People in Need

Zambia and Tanzania

Dear Friends,

After Jesus’ resurrection from death and the grave, He remained on Earth for forty days. Jesus met with his disciples and other believers to encourage them, explaining all the events that had taken place. He described the new Covenant with God: forgiveness for our sins – salvation from eternal separation from God –in accordance with Holy Scripture given to us over the millennia. We now have new Eternal Life!

This is the reality of God's eternal love. We now “see” the real and risen – new - Jesus from the grave. Jesus becomes the first “born” or the new “Adam”. We have this real window for new believers of eternal life with Jesus, God the Father and the newly given Holy Spirit. Hallelujah, Hallelujah!

Every ARDF project introduces people to the reality of this risen Christ through their local Anglican Church while simultaneously teaching them practical skills to give them hope for the future. Each project is a long-term investment in people in need.

As we close out our fiscal year, we still need funding for these two ARDF projects. Will you help support these long-term investments?

The reception area of the renovated Teacher's Training College will be a welcoming place for students.

Zambia: Diocese of Central Zambia – This project builds a new post-secondary school building with classrooms, a kitchen, dining hall and latrines. In this new space, student teachers will prepare to teach in both primary and secondary schools that are on the same campus. During school vacations, the same buildings will teach farmers new techniques of sustainable farming on a nearby 74-acre demonstration farm. In the first year, this project will impact over 750 lives. We still need $60,000.

As part of the project, an evening Bible study will encourage the girls to develop good character and reduce their vulnerability to negative influences.

Tanzania: Diocese of Matana - This project will show love to the students at Queen Esther Girl's Secondary School. Girls are often discriminated against in this region, especially in the area of education. We are building a girls hostel, along with a science block and a library. These young women will know they are not forgotten - rather they are loved deeply by our Creator God! We still need $90,000.

Praising God and praying,

O Almighty God, whose blessed Son our Savior Jesus Christ ascended far above all heavens that he might fill all things: Mercifully give us faith to perceive that, according to his promise, he abidteth with his Church on earth, even unto the end of the ages; through the same Jesus Christ our Lord, who liveth and reigneth with thee and the Holy Spirit, one God, in glory everlasting, Amen.”

May God bless you and your family throughout this summer.
