He Is Risen!

"Soon the world will no longer see me, but you will see me. Since I live, you also will live.
When I am raised to life again, you will know that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you." - John 14:19-20

A Letter From the Executive Director

April 22nd, 2019

Dear Friends,

He is Risen!

Can you imagine living at that time and hearing this news? If you loved Jesus, it would be the most wonderful news of your life! But it would be troubling if you didn’t love Jesus, or confusing if you weren't sure about who He was. Seeing Christ’s life and how he loved others during his earthly ministry made a lot of people think - but knowing He is the resurrected Son of God would really cause people to wake up!

Christ's death and resurrection is the window in time where our Creator showed us what forever love and new life really means. Our original loving relationship with God at creation is offered again to us by believing in Jesus as God’s son!

Thankfully, history tells us His resurrection is absolutely true. Over the next 350 years, half of the Roman Empire came to know that "Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God." Today, lives are still impacted by this incredible good news.

ARDF is excited about Christ's continuing impact. Our mission is to strengthen communities in the developing world, testifying to the life changing power of the resurrected Christ! Our development projects are carefully selected to show this forever love and new life all over the world through partnership with the local church.

Celebrate God's forever love and new life with us this Easter! You can help make the impact of Christ's resurrection real to entire communities by supporting two approved projects that still need funding.

Esther Secondary School Mpwapwa Tanzania.jpg

In Tanzania we are partnering with the Diocese of Mpwapwa to show love to the students at Queen Esther Girl's Secondary School. Girls are often discriminated against in this region, especially in the area of education. We are building a girls hostel, along with a science block and a library. These young women will know they are not forgotten - rather they are loved deeply by our Creator God!

In Burundi we are partnering with the Diocese of Matana to expand Ecole Fundamentale de Matana School. In an area where school buildings have been destroyed due to conflict, we will be building instead, adding ten new classrooms! Community members will also use the new space for meetings, evangelism, and Bible study – all practices that promote peace and reconciliation.

Christ is risen! And He shows God's forever love and new life to us all. Praise be to God!

With every blessing,
