At the present time your plenty will supply what they need, so that in turn their plenty will supply what you need. Then there will be equality.
2 Corinthians 8:14
Hundreds of thousands of refugees are fleeing their homes in South Sudan as peace-making efforts remain underway between government and opposition forces. Despite a recent peace agreement–and the threat of sanctions from neighboring countries–the humanitarian crisis remans desperate.
Farmers have been unable to plant crops due to the violence, and the risk of famine is severe. According to the UN, 4 million people are at risk of starvation, and 50,000 children are already in immanent danger.
More than 1,038,000 people have been internally displaced by the civil war, and over 367,260 people have fled their homes into neighboring countries such as Uganda, Kenya, Ethiopia, and Sudan. The estimated cost of providing aid to these refugees over the next six months will total more than $75 million.
ARDF is partnering with Anglican churches in Ethiopia to provide urgent care to refugees in the Gambella region.

Please commit to praying for our brothers and sisters in South Sudan and neighboring countries who are suffering terribly:
Eternal God, in whose perfect kingdom no sword is drawn but the sword of righteousness, no strength known but the strength of love: So mightily spread abroad your Spirit, that all peoples may be gathered under the banner of the Prince of Peace, as children of one Father; to whom be dominion and glory, now and forever.
