Diocese of Ho — Ghana has a rich cultural history and a wealth of natural resources. The economy depends on subsistence farming. The Volta region, located in Western Ghana, has a vibrant economic base and is historically the region’s center of trade. Despite the region’s fertility, there is a lack of economic opportunities in Ghana, especially for youth. The Anglican Diocese of Ho will provide an agriculturally based economic empowerment project for youth in the region with participants receiving skills training in finances and food crop production, animal husbandry, and cocoa production. Youth will engage with the Scriptures during devotions held twice a day.
Funds Needed: $50,926
