“With Open Hands and Open Hearts.”

AdventThe Fourth Week of Advent.

During this final week of Advent, we are particularly inspired by the words of Archbishop Stanley Ntagali: “Advent is a great season in the Church calendar for us Christians. It is a time of waiting, a time of expectation. As we wait to celebrate and receive the Savior of the World, the King of kings and the Lord of lords, we need to be mindful of the poor around the world. We must open our hands and our hearts so that we can share and remember that there are people who are needy. We need to remember that Christ died for them; He was born to be their King and their Savior. He is their Savior today.”

“We need to exercise acts of grace and mercy to continue to support those who need our help.”

This week, we pray that you will be inspired by the faith of our Global Anglican family. May their words encourage and equip you to dwell in the grace of God with open hands and hearts. Watch all the videos and read more about ARDF’s Advent series here, and be on the look-out for our special Christmas video for more wonderful words from around the world!
