ARDF is thrilled to announce the hiring of Caleb Vits as our new GROW Initiative Coordinator.
“Caleb brings an ideal combination of gifts and passions to the Coordinator position,” said The Rev. Charles Treichler, ARDF Communication Manager. “He’s incredibly personable and has the energy, experience, and passion for social justice necessary to successfully build on [outgoing GROW Initiative Coordinator] Ryn Manby’s excellent work and take the GROW Initiative to the next level.”
A native of Carmel, IN, Caleb now considers Pittsburgh his home. He graduated from Grove City College where he studied International Business and Communications. After working in his alma mater’s admissions office for three years, he now resides in Sewickley, PA and worships at St. Stephen’s Church where he is also on staff with the children’s ministries. As an alumnus of the Pittsburgh Fellows program, a Christian post-college business leadership program, he continues to volunteer with the organization and mentors current fellows. In his spare time, Caleb enjoys analyzing movies, traveling, and playing piano. He is also an avid fan of Diet Coke, Chick-fil-A, and flip-flops.
Caleb believes strongly in ARDF’s mission to empower Anglicans in the developing world to show the love of Christ to those in need in their own communities–and he is excited to share that passion with other Anglicans in their 20s and 30s.
The GROW Initiative’s mission is to,
- Grow a generation of Anglican Christians who are fully engaged in global partnerships through the work of ARDF and beyond.
- Grow the appeal of our exciting, global denomination to the next generation.
The GROW Initiative has launched an Advisory Board made up of 10 young professional Anglicans from across North America who will 1.) Provide vital insight and guidance to ARDF’s staff and Board of Trustees, and 2.) Actively support and promote ARDF’s work.
Please join us in welcoming Caleb to the team!Help raise awareness:
